So a few days to go, lots of organising going on, rooms now booked an allocated in the Old Ship Aground. Some late drop outs but some new competitors are coming.
Bait all organised and will be picked up on Thursday
Draw in the bar at 7.00pm boats leave at 8.00 am on Friday
Friday we have three boats, Teddie Boy, Osprey and Scoobie Doo and 21 people coming plus Dave Lewis from Sea Angler Magazine will be on board doing an article. We will probably try for some tope, smoothhounds, huss and congers with big baits and strong traces the order of the day. As always this will be down to the weather and the forecast looks as though this settled and hot spell may have broken we might even need some wet weather gear
Saturday we have 17 coming and 2 boats and we are likely to try for more of the smaller species inshore. As always plans are likely to change depending on weather and where the fish are.
Cant wait till Thursday when we meet up over a couple of pints
